Tales on Tour

Tales on Tour is an annual program conducted by the Tales of the Cocktail Foundation that partners with a host city outside of the foundation's home base of New Orleans in order to educate and support the spirits industry on a global scale.  For the second year in a row, the event was held in Old San Juan in order to support the local community's continuing recovery efforts after the devastation from Hurricane Maria in 2017.  It is a smaller-scale version of the Tales of the Cocktail event and offers a full day of educational seminars, a series of pop-up bars, and a day of service where event participants volunteer their time for a variety of charitable projects.  There are also field trips offered on the final day of the event, which may include exclusive visits to the island's two largest rum distilleries (Serrallés/Don Q and Bacardi).
