Miami Rum Renaissance Festival

The Miami Rum Renaissance Festival (also known as the Miami Rum Festival) is one of the largest rum events in the US and is held annually in south Florida.  It's the ultimate rum tasting event, with well over 100 expressions to sample from dozens of brands.  Expert and consumer rum judges from across the globe gather to rank a variety of rums in different categories, ultimately awarding the best ones with a Rum Jury medal.  The awards are announced during the first day of the festival so attendees can sample the winning rums and meet the brands' representatives.  There are also rum-themed seminars throughout both days of the festival and an exclusive VIP tasting bar where guests can sample ultra-premium and rate expressions, some of which are no longer available for purchase.
